Erica Rampelberg, PhD, lpcc

(She/Hers)

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (E.2102675) with a Doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision from Capella University, a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois. For over 10 years I have worked with survivors of trauma and vicarious trauma.

I am grounded in existential theory. I empower my clients and help them find purpose and meaning. With compassion and unconditional regard, I strive to help everyone live their best lives and find in themselves their strengths.

Life is not a marathon with a prize at the end. Life is a series of races. Each day we strive to know better and do better. Each day we can reflect on how things went and adapt for the next day. We get to celebrate successes and, with or without success, we get to celebrate growth. Growth can be uncomfortable and yet continuous lifelong growth is necessary to live a life of fulfillment. Sometimes we all need someone with us on our life journey of making meaning of our experiences and finding purpose and reaching goals.

I have extensive training in trauma work, women’s issues, diversity, equity and inclusion, multicultural leadership, advocacy, and empowerment. I specialize in topics of survivor trauma, racial trauma, and organizational trauma.
